Marc Diaz was born and raised in the charming tropical island of Puerto Rico. At the tender age of nine, Marc began learning and playing the bass instrument . Marc studied at the Carolina School of Arts with Professor Carlos Ciuro and later studied at the Inter-American University with Professor  Edgar Sierra and Jazz master Tony Batista. Influences include Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clark, Marcus Miller, John Benitez, John Patitucci 

He has played with the finest musicians around the world including : Luis Quevedo, Edgar Abraham,Eric Enfield,Tony Castellanojr,Tony Renovales,Dario Estrella,Timothy Bloom, Rafy Cuna, Lolita Flores, Endel Dueno, Aaron Fowler,Lauren Mitchell, Dr Henry Price, Robert Nissim, Nathan Mitchell, David Downing ,Nate Najar, Daniela Soledade, Steve Roiland, Michael Allman ,Betty Fox
